Inside CHANEL chapitre 6 : Mademoiselle

Lorsque Gabrielle est devenue Mademoiselle en 1920. Misia Sert, sa fidèle amie, l'a présenté à Stravinsky, Picasso, Cocteau, Diaguilev et Ravel.

En 1921, Gabrielle rencontra Ernes Beaux, où la création du plus beau parfum de tous les temps : CHANEL N°5.

Gabrielle s'insprira de ses vestons, gilets de ses marins, ses chandails..  le Duc de Westminster, L'homme le plus riche de l'Angleterre caractérisé par son Élégance Anglaise et le luxe détaché de l'aristocratie.

Elle dit : "Ses femmes, je vais les foutre en noir.", Le noir devint la couleur absolut, L'instrument de son succès. 

La petite robe noir est née ! 

Bijoux et pièrres, l'inspiration de Gabrielle. Elle dit : "Ce qui Compte ce n'est pas le Carat, mais l'illusion."

"Je vais être de ce qui va arriver." c'est ce qu'a dit Gabrielle après le déclenchement de la 2ème guerre mondiale, où elle a baissé le rideau de 31 rue Cambon. A Suivre..

Gabrielle was inspired by his Jackets, his sailor's vests, and his sweaters, the Duc of Westminster, the richest man of England caracterised by his British Elegance and aristocratic luxury

She said  : " Those women, i'm gonna do them in black." The Black color became the absolut color, the instrument of her sucess.

The little black dress was born ! 

Jewelry and stones, Gabrielle's inspiration. She said : " What matters in not the Carat, but the Illusion."

"I'll be of what is gonna happen." That's what she said after the start of WW2, when she shutted 31 Rue Cambon. To be Continued ..
